The investigators of the CRE for PAD have established a number of collaborative relationships with institutions and other research networks, which will be fundamental to achieving the aims of the centre. Examples of collaborative groups and organisations include The Australian Stroke Genetics Consortium, Stanford University Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm group, the International Aneurysm Consortium and the Inter-Society Consensus for the Management of PAD (TASC) guidelines group. The World Health Organisation working party on the Global Burden of Disease assessment, The Transatlantic Inter-Society Consensus on the management of PAD, The Global Vascular Guidelines for Severe Limb Ischemia and the NHF National Blood Pressure and Vascular Disease Advisory Committee. The CRE for PAD is seeking further collaborations with groups in related areas.
