The role of differences in circulating factors in the pathogenesis of vascular disease

Diseases of the peripheral blood vessels are responsible for considerable mortality and morbidity. The mechanisms underlying artery blockage and weakening are poorly defined. This study is designed to investigate the association of circulating, tissue and genetic markers with peripheral vascular diseases.
